Draft. This page describes how HospAux works today. It is to be reviewed by a lawyer before HospAux takes payments or opens to students.
1. About these terms
These terms are between you and HospAux ("HospAux", "we"). They apply to this website and to the HospAux app. By creating an account or paying for a course, you agree to them.
2. Your account
- Give your real name and an email address you use: your certificate carries your name.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it or your password.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to our privacy policy for you.
3. Courses and access
- A course is paid for on its own and is open to you for six months from payment. A renewal adds six months after your current access ends.
- If you study in an institute's batch and the institute pays, the course is open to you while you're in that batch.
- We improve courses over time; units and tasks may change.
4. Payments
Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. You see the price before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Razorpay. Course payments are final, except as our cancellation and refund policy says.
5. Assessments and certificates
- Take assessments yourself, without help, and don't share their answers.
- A certificate records that you completed a HospAux course and passed its assessment, with your grade. It isn't a professional licence, a registration or a university qualification.
- Anyone with a certificate's number can check it. We may withdraw a certificate that was earned by sharing answers or by misusing HospAux; its check page then says so.
6. What HospAux teaches
HospAux teaches the use of hospital software, on the screens of MedAura ERP with a demo hospital and demo patients. Clinical situations in case scenarios are for practice. They aren't medical advice and don't replace your training, your institution's protocols or your hospital's policies.
7. Using HospAux fairly
Don't copy, record, sell or republish HospAux's lessons, screens or assessments, don't use automated tools to collect them, and don't try to get around how access, payments or assessments work.
8. Ownership
HospAux's courses and content belong to us. MedAura's screens belong to MedAura and are used with its permission.
9. Institutes
When you join an institute's batch, its staff see your progress in that batch's courses: tasks learned and practised, drill and case scores, assessment results and certificates.
10. Changes, suspension and liability
- We may update these terms; we'll show the new date at the top, and tell you of important changes.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
- As far as the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [city to be confirmed] have jurisdiction.
